The DSC MX916 is an addressable loop smoke and heat detector designed for the IQ Pro panels. All MX devices require an HSM3105 MX addressable loop module to be added to the IQ Pro.
Once that module is in place, you can use these smokes and other MX devices on your IQ Pro. It has 3 modes of detection, optical, heat-enhanced optical, and fixed temperature of 200° F (93°C). This allows it to detect a wide range of fires from smoldering to flaming.
