The contact has become the new DSC standard for door/window contacts due to its streamlined profile (30% smaller than its predecessor the WLS925L-433/ WLS935L) and new design that allows for double-sided tape mounting.
The WS4945 is designed for dependable case- or wall-tamper detection. Depending on how the contact is purposed, it will send a signal to the alarm system if either its casing is opened or if it is forcibly removed from a wall.
