ICC's Classic faceplate is designed to work with Classic faceplates, or commonly known as wall plates. Blank faceplates with double gang in 6p6c filling the open space make the outlet appear as one complete piece and aesthetically pleasing.
Also, the housing of the connectors mounts flush with the front faceplate. This makes the outlet appear as one complete piece and aesthetically pleasing.
